Always best to call a locksmith! Sometimes attempting lockout situations yourself can be costly, and you’re still unable to open the door. For this customer I ordered a new gearbox mechanism and returned on the Saturday to fit and straighten the door frame temporarily, until their planned purchase of a new door in a few months.
